Installation Manual

When preparing to install the DC200 dash camera it is important to ensure you have read the installation instructions.

Important tips

  • Do not connect the DC200 to power until the install is complete.
  • Plan the fitment to ensure a fast and neat fitment.
  • Clean the surface the DC200 bracket will be mounted to.
  • Insert the 64GB SD card provided.

Installation - Plug and Play

The DC200 has an optional cigarette plug harness available contact info@atga.com.au to find out more. Please note this will impact the parking surveillance feature.

  • 1. Download the ATGA DASH CAM app from the Google Play or Apple App store
  • 2. Insert the 64GB SD card provided – This can be formatted within the APP. Default password 88889999
  • *ATGA DC200 supports up to a 128GB Micro SD card. Class 10 or above is required.

  • 3. Mount the camera in the correct position to ensure the logo has the correct orientation when looking at the camera from the front of the vehicle. The camera should also be mounted in a position which will not obscure the driver’s vision.
    Note: make sure the correct orientation when looking at the camera from the front of te vehicle.
  • HINT – An area close to the rear view mirror provides a neat and “hidden” location.
  • 4. Connect the approved DC200 cigarette power cable to the outlet and run the micro USB end to the DC200. It is recommended to covertly install the power harness to avoid accidental disconnection or damage.
  • 5. Hide the excess cable in an appropriate location and plug in the power cable to the DC200. When the outlet receives power the DC200 will turn on.

Rear Camera Installation

  • 1. Mount the dash camera to the inside of the vehicle’s rear windshield. The area near the top middle section is recommended. Pay attention to the orientation of the dash camera when mounting.
  • 2. The rear dash camera wiring cam be pushed between the roof lining and the roof for covert installation. Please disregard the red wire as this dash camera does not utilise the reverse camera feature.
  • 3. After installation, connect the rear plug into the rear camera and the AV plug into the front dash camera.
  • 4. Adjust the lens position to ensure that the lens is level with the ground.

Installation - Hardwire

The DC200 comes standard with a hardwire kit to ensure it is operational when you need it most! The DC200 power kit includes a voltage “cut out” function (default is 11.8V) to keep your car battery functional. It is recommended to have a professional complete the fitment.

  • 1. Download the ATGA DASH CAM app from the Google Play or Apple App store.
  • 2. Insert the 64GB SD card provided – This can be formatted within the APP. Default password 88889999

  • 4. Select an appropriate installation location within the vehicle which will provide a constant power connection, accessory 12v power connection and a strong earth to the chassis or approved earth point. Please see diagram below.
  • NOTE - To change the power protection voltage push down the white tab of the voltage you wish to have the cameras turn off at.
  • 5. When running the power cable for the DC200 be sure to hide the cable for a neat and professional finish.
  • 6.Ensure the excess from the power cable is hidden and secured in place.
